Thomas M. Gorey, J.D., LCPC

tom-goreyTom Gorey is a licensed clinical professional counselor and Jungian (analytical) psychotherapist with offices in the northwest suburbs of Chicago (Crystal Lake) and in downtown Chicago. Prior to becoming a therapist, Tom worked for many years as a health care attorney and consultant for the American Medical Association and a variety of other   not-for-profit medical and healthcare organizations.

Tom has a B.A. in psychology from the University of Illinois-Urbana, an M.A. in counseling from Loyola University Chicago, and a law degree with honors from DePaul University. He also has received a certificate in Jungian psychotherapy from the CG Jung Institute of Chicago and a certificate in divorce mediation from Northwestern University. In addition, Tom completed a clinical rotation at the Sexual Dysfunction Clinic at Loyola University's Medical School under the direction of internationally recognized sex therapist, Domeena Renshaw, M.D.

Tom serves as adjunct faculty at Loyola University Chicago and serves on the board of the CG Jung Center in Evanston, Illinois. He is a professional affiliate of the CG Jung Institute of Chicago.
